Minimum Qualifications
- Has a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health or health-related field or
- Has a bachelor’s degree in any field with one year of work experience in a behavioral health service delivery
Work Experience
- Has experience in diagnosing mental and behavioral disorders and substance use and abuse disorders
- Has experience in supervising Behavioral Health Technicians and or behavioral health care professionals
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledgeable in the behavioral services and treatments offered to the residents
- Possess excellent management and leadership skills
- Possess skills, knowledge, and protection of resident’s right
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the behavioral health technicians and caregivers, including their performance evaluations, conflict resolutions, and the hiring and firing of staff members.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor in developing standards of care, policies and procedures, guidelines, and forms to ensure efficient work operations in the facility.
- Manage all of the business affairs of the agency.
- Compete, keep, or submit reports and records of the residents.
