Minimum Qualifications

  • Has a master’s degree in any field related to human services granted by an accredited institution
  • Has a valid license from the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners

Work Experience

  • Has experience working with the population we serve
  • Has clinical management experience in programs for adults in a Behavioral Health Agency
  • Has experience with diagnosis and counseling of the population we serve, monitoring Behavioral Health Technicians and other personnel members, ensuring that the agency’s policy and procedure are implemented well, and residents’ treatment plans are followed

Training

  • MSW maintains the Current Board of Behavioral Health Examiners License, LPC maintains the Current Board of Behavioral Health Examiners License

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Administrator Program Director in developing standards of care, policies and procedures, guidelines, and forms to ensure efficient work operations in the facility.
  • Assures staff members’ orientation is documented in each member’s file.
  • Provide a minimum of four hours per month of clinical oversight for all agency personnel providing direct services to residents.
  • Maintains availability to Program Director or designee on a 24-hour basis to address clinical oversight emergencies, unusual incident reporting, or other urgent clinical oversight issues
