The Assistant Program Coordinator will be designated as administrator in the absence of the agency’s program director. The agency Assistant Program Coordinator’s job description meets the qualification of administrator. The designee will have access to all areas of the premises and have the authority and responsibility to operate the agency according to the agency’s policies and procedures.

No less than 15 working days prior to changing the Administrator/Program Director or Clinical Supervisor, the agency will notify the Department in writing of the new administrator or Assistant Program Coordinator. The written notification shall include the qualifications of the newly appointed administrator or Assistant Program Coordinator and the date when the change shall take place.

In instances when permanent transfer of administrator or Assistant Program Coordinator responsibilities occurs unexpectedly, the agency shall notify the BRFL of such a change within 24 hours of the change in administrator or Assistant Program Coordinator by telephone and provide written verification within five working days following the change.
